it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a barcode scanner and a bluetooth speaker. My goal is to make history come alive through literature and to involve my students in multimodal learning activities. The scanner will help students self check out their book of choice which will help in research and/or character development. The speaker will enable them to create speeches, plays, parades. For example: Last year, the technology teacher and myself put on a Hip Hop parade where we researched artists and created a parade using robotic floats. Every student is unique and quality education is needed to unlock doors to success. My students come in daily and work hard. This year in specific, they came back from summer vacation like they never left, which is something that hasn't happened in a long time. Their dedication to learning amazed me this month. I consider all my students my own. We share feelings, emotions, experiences and much more daily. Building strong connections give students the confidence needed to strive for best and believe in themselves. The tools asked for in this project will help them do just that! Please help me, help them.
