My students need a lot of visual and tactile resources to expand their learning of letters, word patterns an vocabulary in English. These materials would really help them to achieve their academic potential.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a group of eager kindergarteners that want to learn about everything. They are a group of bilingual students who are new to this country and are learning a new language and a new culture.
The school environment is the only place where they will be able to acquire the skills they need to be successful in their new country.
My students are become extraordinary readers and writers on their second language and have shown great progress. Their parents support them as much as they can even though it might be difficult because of their lack of proficiency in the English language.
My Project
The sound cards will help students learn to blend and decode words. The alphabet writing and tracing and big floor alphabet puzzle will help my struggling students to learn the letters and their sounds. The three letter words building puzzles will help them to learn about cvc words and their structure. The paper bins will help me to store all the material at the literacy center in an organized manner so that students are able to access the materials independently during literacy center time. My students will really benefit from having all these various and engaging literacy games since right now they are only able to use a limited amount of resources.
