This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
After more than 18 months in remote learning, our students are ready to get back to the rhythm of school. They want to dive into reading and enter worlds their imagination and minds can take them.
It is a passion of mine to see students grow and learn through the journey of books.
Wanting to see their eyes open wide when entering a new world that is just on the tips of their fingers will bring me not only joy but also bridge the academic gaps our school is facing.
My Project
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Our scholars will continue to grow and work towards their reading goals.
These materials will support and build their confidence in reading and comprehension level.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
