My school is such a small tight knit family that I am absolutely blessed to be a part of. My school is a public school that is home to children across a variety of cities. Students are chosen based on a lottery system to ensure diversity.
My classroom includes students from all different types of races, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and learning abilities.
Each student has a drive to continue to be successful in their educational endeavors but could use more resources to further assist their needs.
My Project
Flexible seating will allow my students comfortable seating for optimal learning. Everyone learns differently. Some students need a chair that provides them room to move as they work. The bouncy bands and Runtz chairs will help these students in their learning tremendously. Other students may find their learning space to be a comfortable place on the floor. The yoga mat will help these students who prefer the floor but will provide a little cushion.
My students will be more engaged and comfortable in their work if provided a comfortable learning space.
