My Project

My project includes a variety of items to support student learning and good behavior in the classroom.

During small group instruction, students sit on the carpet with their workbooks and often times are positioned uncomfortably as they work on the floor without tables.

The lap desk will allow them to sit on the floor and have a writing surface to complete their work on without having to hunch over.

A small display shelf for featured books from our classroom library will help to encourage students' love for reading.

A rolling cart with hanging files will help to keep students' individual reading materials organized for reading intervention block.

A variety of classroom supplies including post-it notes, colored pens, dry erase pens and erasers, and magnets are all materials that students can use or will be used by the teacher to help support their learning.

Stickers and stamps will incentivize good behavior.
