Making Learning Fun

Help me give my students math games, STEM building kits, and building blocks to help expand their minds in exciting ways.

My Project

My students are extremely creative this year. They love to create posters, film weather forecast, and create PowerPoints on ideas they have learned this year. They will love to use the building blocks to make learning come to life. We have currently written mystery stories and they would be able to use these blocks to build their characters and setting.

My students love to learn through games too.

This builds teamwork, social emotional skills, and reinforces skills they have learned this year. I have requested three different games. One is on fractions where students will be able to compare fractions by playing fraction war. Another one is Proof where they have to prove their answers to different math questions. The last one is Splat Subtraction where students will increase their subtraction skills with a fun and engaging card came. These games build relationships and learning in the classroom.

Lastly, the STEM building kits. My students have fallen in love with building new things. They love to read and follow directions and see their constructions come to life. We have a unit on forces and motion with a little bit of electricity built in. This will engage them in seeing how science can be used in real life and the importance of reading directions carefully.
