Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are eager to learn through hands- on experiences. The sound segmenting tray and alphabet letters will help my students build the phonics, reading and writing skills needed to be great readers by integrating skill practices into our reading routine. As beginning readers it is imperative that they see reading as an amazing opportunity to experience different adventures.

Hands-on activities are motivating and engaging for my students.

These requested materials will help students during independent practice, small group instruction, and work stations. Providing my students with a variety of hands-on materials will help differentiate learning styles of all students that will provide opportunity for student growth. The stools provide flexible seating allowing them to wobble, rock, lean or stand which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. The laminator will allow me to laminate materials to last for many school years to come.
