My students are an energetic group excited to learn new skills and make new friends this year. They have a wide range of reading and math abilities. I love meeting each of them at their own level and watching them grow throughout the year! My students are full of wonder and curiosity. They are loving our hands-on STEM bins and enjoy challenges requiring to think outside of the box. They learn in many different ways and with this project I hope to engage, encourage, and enrich my struggling learners while pushing the others to reach their highest potential. Go Aviators!
My students will grow so much using these fun, hands on games and STEM building activities, like LEGO and K’NEX sets. They will start their morning building and not seated doing seat work. Their little minds start working right away and they are engaged while building social skills, discussing new ways to build and assemble their manipulatives.
When students walk in excited to start their day with morning tubs, it helps them to stay engaged and excited to learn throughout the rest of our day.
Their faces light up and they love sharing what they built that morning with the group at our morning meeting. It is one of their favorite parts of the day.
