Making Learning Fun With Manipulatives!

My students need 10+ manipulatives and learning tools for reading and math centers including sight word builders, pattern cards, clocks, and balances for measuring.

My Students

Students learn best by doing, which is why we need engaging manipulatives and learning tools for our reading and math centers. These manipulatives will help capture students attention and will make learning exciting for them!

My students are in Kindergarten and attend school in an urban setting.

They come from very diverse socio-economic backgrounds. We are also an inclusive classroom and are learning to enjoy and embrace our differences everyday. There are 17 children, two who are visually impaired.

My Project

I am requesting language and math manipulatives for learning centers. To help students learn, they need hands on activities including find and write boards, sight word builders, skill building learning games including Colorama, balances for measuring, time cards so students can create a given time, magnetic pattern cards, and builders such as bristle builders. The following manipulatives will help students build necessary language art and math skills and it will also increase hand-eye coordination.

This project will impact my current and future students as they learn through hands-on activities.

It will create memorable learning experiences and build necessary skills including academic and social skills needed throughout their educational career.
