Making Learning Fun through Imaginative Play in Pre-K

Help me give my students bright, colorful, and exciting learning resources to engage their curious minds with building blocks, laminating pouches, counting bears and matching games.

My Project

Our classroom is a blend scholars with special needs. We work and play together, accepting and learning from each other. These fun activities and learning games, building blocks, laminating pouches, counting bears and matching games, will help us practice our skills, learn new ones, and have fun together. The laminating pouches will help preserve the cards, rules, and other printed materials that support these games, as well gives the teacher a chance to personalize pieces to be used in the games.

Play is uniquely imperative for young children given that the parts of the brain that are most developed in the earliest years are those that respond to play and activity.

Young children have shown improved language skills, math skills and problem-solving skills after playing. When children play, their brains release chemicals that can impact memory, motivation, attention and mood, and help regulate emotions and support social skills. Play is so powerful, there is evidence that it can close achievement gaps in children.

Please help us add these fun blocks, memory games, 3D shapes, pattern cards, counting bears, match games, puzzles, and board games to our classroom to enrich our learning experience.
