My Project
This is my 26 years of teaching, but my first year teaching ASP. In my class, students have different levels of abilities and learn at different paces. To cater to this diversity, I employ a variety of teaching approaches. I firmly believe that every student can learn, and hence, I use manipulatives to support their learning. For instance, I use number line whiteboard strips to teach Math, which provide a visual aid when adding and subtracting. In ELA, magnetic whiteboards and alphabet letters help enhance their learning. For students who struggle to grasp a paintbrush, I use tempera paint sticks to help them participate in art. By providing hands-on materials, students can learn more effectively, and by offering a variety of sensory items, I can cater to individual learning needs.
