Making Learning Fun For 2nd Graders!

My students need a die cutting machine to help them with their visual learning.

My Students

Sometimes words are deceiving to a young mind and they get lost in translation. Pictures are universal and can be understood no matter what your reading level is.

I have 27 students this year in my 2nd grade class in a Title I school in New York.

Several of my students are ELL learners and English is their second language. They strive to do well, but are struggling with achieving the 2nd grade standard reading level.

My Project

Using a die cut machine will help me have pictures to add to every item within our classroom for easy reference. It will help students learn basic words and create their own stories using pictures. This machine can be used by other teachers as well so that all students may benefit from the power of learning using illustrations!

By helping me fund this project, my students will be on the road to learning using a different medium.

They will be able to show vocabulary words that match pictures and have a fun, exciting new way to learn!
