Making Learning Fun Again With Technology

My students need iPads in the classroom to utilize apps, such as Seesaw, to aid in their learning process.

My Students

I teach 17 wonderful first graders. We use technology throughout the day and the kids love it!! We are a rural school with very little diversity. Our school is a loving community with support from the community and parents. We love to participate in STEAM and Breakout EDU. We also love our reading time. We love all kinds of books, but we need more culturally diverse books; we need comfy places to work and read. We hope you can help use expand our love or reading and learning!

My Project

My students are constantly using technology in the classroom. At this time, we have 5 iPads in the classroom and share an iPad cart with 4 other first grade classes. I would love my for class to have their own set.

We use apps, such as Seesaw and QR codes, to make learning more interesting.

I can create work for students to complete on the iPad and share with others in their class. We wouldn't have to worry about borrowing iPads in other classrooms to complete our work.

We also LOVE to use iPads to research more about what we are reading.
