This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a beautiful community of diverse students and families. Where teachers like to make lessons age-appropriate, connect the work to student's lived experiences, and engage the whole family! Unfortunately, this year, we lack funding for at-home STEAM projects.

Funding this project will help me connect our school's STEAM curriculum, which helps teach students how to be scientists with a growth mindset, to their lived experiences at home, making STEAM come to life!

Engaging my students with hands-on, FUN materials will help them connect to the scientific method in a way that will help create life-long science learners.
