My Students

I am teaching a wonderful class full of third graders! They work hard every day to learn and share new things. My students live in a low-income area. My students work really hard each day to learn and understand our daily lessons. Having extra supplies, books, games, and manipulatives will help my students have hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.

My Project

Because of Covid impacting our students families, donations have been very small this year, making it hard to have the supplies needed during the school day. We need a color printer in our classroom to make graphs and visual posters to hang in our room. We also need paper, pencils, and highlighters so that we can use them for learning activities. We also love playing outside when the weather is nice, so outdoor balls and jump ropes are needed. Math games help students understand the concepts we are learning. Weather supplies will be used during our science curriculum.These supplies will help my students be able to get the hands-on learning and visual learning aids to be able to better understand and conquer concepts in our learning each day. Our class is trying to get back to normal every day learning since Covid, and having the items we need will be very beneficial to my students.
