This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Today's classrooms require a flexible set of tools to inspire extraordinary learning experiences and improve student-learning outcomes.
I teach in a low income area in the city.
Now that all students of all ages are comfortable using PC's and the Internet, I would like to give my students an opportunity to experience the broad technological advances to keep up with changing times in our society.
My Project
Using the projector will enable my lessons to become more exciting and engaging, while increasing student's alertness and retention.
Since most of my student's families do not have the means of supplying their children such educational tools, I would love to give them an opportunity to experience the endless learning tools available.
Having the best technology means little if our students are not being exposed to or can not use it.
With the help of a projector I can bring the classroom to a new exciting world. It would not only improve, but also reinforce their appetite and enthusiasm of participation and learning.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
