Making History With Chromebooks

My students need more access to technology in my classroom to work on 21st century assignments. They need four Chromebooks.

My Students

Students in my history classes are passionate about collaborating and using online media to discover history. My students are curious about the past. Their curiosity leads us down new paths, lessons, and viewpoints. They enjoy sharing their thinking and participating in lively debates.

Team work is vital in our class.

These students work hard to discover answers through modeling, re-enacting, and researching. They especially enjoy learning through media like articles, videos, and research. These students want to collaborate through technology.

My Project

History students need Chromebooks to collaborate through shared documents, slideshows, forms, and multi-media presentation tools. Students will also use Chromebooks to research and create interactive history presentations.

With these Chromebooks, my students can work together to create, collaborate, and think critically in social science.

Using technology allows this generation of students to practice their 21st century Skills. Their future employers will require that they possess the skills to work as a team. Through the use of Chromebooks and Google's Educational Suite, my students will be prepared to enter the work force. My students are excited about collaborating online in a meaningful way.
