We have the most inspirational students! They come from more than 75 countries and a multitude of different situations but they all strive for future success.
Including Health & Wellness for my students is a crucial part of their well-rounded high school experience.
My goal is to make sure all my students have the same quality opportunities to learn about their own health & wellness.
So many of my students must overcome hurdles just to get to school never mind juggle the schedules of after school activities, homework, a job, and family responsibilities. But they never cease to amaze me with their goal driven energy.
My Project
My classroom is a diverse environment of learning. This includes the use of technology to view, research and augment the discussions about Health & Wellness.
I have utilized a projector that I personally purchased for the past 7 years on a daily basis but sadly, it is time for a replacement.
We use the projector in so many ways from viewing short videos to projecting diagrams on the whiteboard that can be completed using dry erase markers. Students will use the projector to augment presentations that they have researched and share with the class. The uses are endless for our classroom!
The vast majority of my students benefit from visual learning. The use of a projector in my classroom has become a critical tool that I am hoping to use again very soon.
