My Project
I am requesting an iPad and an iPad case to help me with my writing conferences and writing instruction. Using an iPad during writing instruction will allow me to be mobile as I am previewing students work on GoGuardian. I will be able to go to each student's desk, instead of them coming to me. It will save time and will allow for increase feedback and student engagement.
When students are writing, it is most beneficial for me to give them feedback as they are writing to help improve their craft.
If I'm constantly asking them to come discuss with me at my desk, I'm less accessible to the entire class. With our current curriculum and an iPad, I will be able to be up and about in the room and can meet student needs with greater efficiency. This will boost student confidence and their writing ability, which will set them up for success as they continue through school!
