Making Distance Learning Work!

Help me give my students composition notebooks and headphones to complete homework and distance learning needs.

My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many of the families I work with have no money to purchase school supplies for their children, so I try to provide as many materials as possible for the classroom. I have many families who are new to the country and speak little English or no English at all. For some students, who are new to the country, they have had no formal schooling.

I have students who come from a variety of circumstances.

I have encountered many students who have experienced homelessness and other extenuating circumstances.

My students are very bright and want to learn. My goal is to expose my students to as many hands-on and engaging learning opportunities as possible.

My Project

Please help me give my students a class set of headphones and composition notebooks.

Headphones will be used for students to listen to virtual learning lessons and activities.

I currently post online songs and lessons that require students to listen along on the computer. Headphones will be helpful for students to be able to pay attention to their work while at home and when they come back into the classroom.

For students who do not have access to technology, composition notebooks will be used for students to complete both at home and at school work. This way, students' work will be located in one place and they will have the paper to complete their work.
