My Project
As a result of the pandemic, we have more students than ever in need of our counseling services. Many of these students are experiencing difficulty, not only in school, but with food insecurity as well. We have been a Title I school for decades, so sadly, we have always had hungry students. However, the pandemic has produced more food insecurity than we have ever seen before. When our students come to counseling, they find a safe haven. Offering a snack and a fidget toy is a way for our counselors to gain the trust of our students and help them to feel comfortable enough to share their true feelings.
Our outstanding Counseling team has been reaching into their own pockets to provide these items for our students because they know how important these supplies are.
Please help to ease their burden by supplying these much needed snacks and fidgets to offer our students.
