Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students would love to have the opportunity to have STEM buckets to get their creative juices flowing. Having access to magnetic tiles, LEGOs, and building toys will help them not only build fine motor skills but also problem-solving skills.
The SEL items, like the breathing pals I have selected, will provide my students things to utilize in our calming corner if they just need to decompress.
It also can help students learn to self-regulate which is such an important skill to have.
I have also included some books to kickstart our classroom library. Having access to books in the classroom will help build my students literacy.
