it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is a very comfortable environment with couches and bean bags where students feel comfortable and safe. I believe that students’ mental wellness is the priority in education and providing a safe environment is the key. My classroom’s furniture really illuminates the home vibe but I would like to add these lap desks so kids can be functional in a comfortable environment. Having taught mainly peer counseling for the last four years has truly been a blessing and this switch to freshmen English really highlighted the needs of a functional setting as well!
