This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Are you a scrapbooker who knows the emotions that looking at photographs brings you? Help us create that same emotion in our students by helping us to purchase a digital camera. Our students want to be able to take photos of field trips and projects so they will have the memories forever.

We are an intermediate school of around 750 students.

We have a high population of Hispanic students and many ELL learners. Our students learn great through modeling, hands-on experiences, and visuals. We are in a district in need of assistance and are doing everything we can to motivate our students to learn. Having digital cameras will help us reinforce that.

My Project

Students will use the digital camera to take pictures of their everyday learning, special projects, to incorporate into their digital projects, field trips and more. The learning opportunities with digital photos are endless and we want to provide that opportunity for our students.

The learning they will get from working with their own pictures will motivate and teach in ways you can only imagine. They will truly appreciate being able to use technologies they are without at home.
