Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to our room! We are a first grade classroom. We are a classroom of about 10 children with special needs and learning accommodations. We strive to meet the needs of our children with personalized learning accommodations, student-centered lessons, and specialized materials to support each child.
We are a classroom that is built more like a family.
In our room, we work hard to build strong relationships between students, teachers, and families. We are all dedicated to learning, loving, and laughing with each other. Our classroom is completely filled with joy and laughter.
However, our school is also located in a poverty-stricken area in which resources are often difficult to access. Due to the lack of resources, the education of these children may suffer. It is my goal to provide these children with the resources they need to grow and succeed.
My Project
We are making centers fun in Grade One! With our new teachers pay teachers resources ordered, we are now printing and laminating the fun centers for the children to use - but we need card stock, laminating pouches, and color ink to get this show on the road!
Children love colorful and fun ELA and math centers!
The activities are inviting and age-appropriate for the children, and we need laminating sheets to protect these quality, engaging resources! The color ink and poster markers really help to make my anchor charts exciting and fun to look at, and present the information in a positive, welcoming way!
Our room would really appreciate these resources and materials to promote fun centers for our kiddos!
