My Students
My students come ready to learn and I try to accommodate in an entertaining way. We have a school of "go getters" and that is no exception in my classroom. We have created a safe atmosphere together and the students feel comfortable asking for help and clarification so that they can be successful. I sometimes feel I am lacking a few of the materials to help all of them when lessons are bit more complex.
They thrive on small group work and small group time with me as that is their time to work through things in an even more comfortable atmosphere.
I am striving to make this time more efficient for their benefit so that we can get even further to reach their goals.
My Project
We spend so much time down at the rug for lessons and presentations. My students have yet to have an actual rug to sit on. This has made it difficult for a handful of students to understand what is their exact spot or often times we find an overcrowding in some areas. Having a rug will give us a little more time as we won't have to deal with as many spot issues.
Headphones will help us a ton, as we have a handful of reading and phonics apps that can get noisy.
Students often hear others apps and mistake the directions for their own, often times messing them up. This will help each student stay focused on their own work and be successful with the apps that are on their level.
