Making Big Moves: Pre-K Furniture

Help me give my students a comfortable and accessible classroom that provides them with a learning environment that encourages independence, and foster positive relationships with teachers and peers!

My Project

The swivel and rocking chair will give me and my students a designated place for things like story time, small groups, and differentiated instruction.

The easel will provide students with an organized and developmentally appropriate place to express their creativity and explore and discover ways to create visual art.

The rug will provide students with a comfy place to sit on the floor in the classroom during morning meetings and circle time.

My goals for this project are to provide students and families with a classroom that fosters independence and automaticity. My students are special because we are in a very rural and small school, so resources, funding, and supplies are scarce within our area.
