My Project
A good mouthpiece and ligature can transform a young clarinet or saxophone player’s sound. Many young players start high school still playing the basic mouthpiece they began with; often, our students cannot afford this simple upgrade to help improve their tone quality.
We are asking for your support to purchase these mouthpieces and help our players develop a mature sound. In many cases, a new mouthpiece can reignite a musician’s interest in practicing and playing. It’s almost as good as purchasing a new instrument!
These resources will help band kids positively collaborate with others through musical and social interactions.
