This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in a preschool special education class and are ready to learn and explore their environment. All of my students live in a low-income community in the Los Angeles area. My student has different types of disabilities ranging from Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Impairment, and Intellectual Disability. All of my students are full of energy and eager to learn every day. They always show up with the most positive attitude and are ready to learn!
My Project
I am asking for bath time essentials that encourage my students in keeping bath time as a routine. Some of my students have a hard time when keeping up with their hygiene when it comes to taking bath or brushing their teeth.
It is important to teach young children good hygiene habits because it promotes a healthy lifestyle, self-confidence, and life skills as they get older.
I have also asked for toothpaste and toothbrushes to encourage a healthy morning routine with waking up and brushing their teeth.
By providing these basic hygiene tools my student will feel great about themselves and be ready to learn every day.
