This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students all have different styles of learning. The models and workbook will cover the different styles to support the visual learners and the reading/writing learners in my special education Biology class. Physical anatomy models offer a promising tool for gross anatomy in 3D representation. These models allow the students the ability to see, touch, hold, and examine which are important aspects of spatial learning. Students will gain value and growth from having touchable aids in the classroom. Being a student with special needs can make learning difficult without the additional workbooks or hands on materials to conceptually learn the framework of anatomy. This will be a big benefit.
