We want to see the world! We love expressing ourselves through digital art, unique presentations, and creative drama. Giving us an outlet to collaborate digitally will prepare us for the future, but more importantly, will brighten our today.

My students love to express themselves through drama. It is an important way to synthesize what they have learned with what they feel and want from their lives. Putting the movies they make up on the big screen will show them that their work is worthy of all the attention of a real audience. They will be able to use it to display companion pieces to their stage performances, share slide show presentations to augment their content knowledge, and finally display their beautiful artwork accompanied by voice-overs of their poetry. My students are diverse and enthusiastic. They yearn to create, collaborate, and share who they are with the community they love so dearly. I know they would be filled with pride to be able to show their families and friends the dreams they harbor inside.
My Project
In addition, we love Skyping with famous authors and getting to know new friends from around the world through interactive Mystery Skyping. Having a portable Epson projector would allow us to meet new people and spread our influence to all corners of the world. We can work on a shared Google Doc from different areas in the room and watch what is being submitted while attending to other tasks. A projector will multiply access to digital content in ways that are too large to quantify. Even the smallest accomplishment can be shared with others through an updated version of the poster presentation, giving students a new avenue to innovate in teams. To make it perfect, the accessories will protect the projector and give us a way to connect.
It is wonderful to have digital resources in the classroom, however, by giving us an Epson projector to share our visuals in a big way, you will be changing lives.
Our class can be a 21st century class who create, collaborate, and celebrate without limit.
