This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love to collaborate with each other. They show up to our virtual class every day with their bright smiles ready to share ideas and support each other's learning. They are an amazing group of young leaders, scientists, athletes, innovators, creators, and writers.

My enthusiastic students are always eager to experience and learn new topics every day​.

They are a very diverse group, with students from different cultures all working towards striving their individual goals in the class. They work hard and enjoy challenges!

My Project

Learning from home is a new experience for students and teachers. The standing desk will have a great impact on students learning as they are learning virtually. With the standing desk I will be able to provide a very interactive and engaging learning experience. This will occur as it will allow me to move around the concepts taught in a smooth way without interruptions. With the mat and mason jars I will also have the opportunity to make various demonstrations while learning physical education and science.

These products will impact our remote learning experience as I am able to interact with my students and connect with them virtually.

I will have the opportunity to move around the room and see my students as I do active physical activity lessons with them, teach sitting down or teach science experiments and concepts while standing and using a white board. With the standing desk my students will not be bored as I sit teaching. Instead, they will be more engaged as I will be able to stand, teach and provide them more interactive ways to learn physical education, science and more.
