My Students
I work in a very active fifth grade classroom. I work hard to ensure that all my students develop and help to foster their growth. They require differentiated instruction tailored to their own distinctive learning abilities. They come to school each day ready to learn and yearning for engaging high-interest activities.
My students come from a small town, empowered by many military families. They are doers, thinkers, creators and a true inspiration to me. Each year I welcome the relationships we create in our room that last well beyond the year they are with me. They make me a better teacher with their questions, interests, and passions.
My Project
Many Americans vaguely remember social studies class...the memorizing of facts, the timelines and the myriad of names can be daunting at best. My goal is to make American History unforgettable....to make our great nation's history come alive within the four walls of my classroom.
By contributing to this project, you will be inspiring students to witness history unravel on page after page of 27 of the best selling historical fiction books.
Making connections is the key to true understanding. With access to some of the most important historical events of the past my students are destined to never forget...never repeat...and make the world a better place.
