it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my music classroom, we are very fortunate to have a set of Orff mallet instruments all my kindergarten through fifth grade students use! Last year, we were fortunate enough to receive some grant money and I was able to purchase some stands for these instruments!
I was very excited we were able to purchase a large number of the stands we needed for the instruments, but we were not able to purchase enough for all of them.
This project would help us purchase the additional five stands needed so all students will be able to use an instrument on a stand.
These stands also have wheels and make it much easier and more accessible to use more often since we can bring them out or push them against a wall when needing more space for other activities. My students love to do a variety of activities when they come to music and these additional stands will help me vary the lessons when I see them.
