The 8-9 year-olds in my classroom love to learn and work together to discover new things every day. We have a strong focus on inquiry-based learning. My students have a growth mindset, knowing they must take risks and try new things. We "fail forward" in our classroom, learning and growing from our successes and failures alike.
My students are highly inquisitive and love learning new things.
They are highly curious and enjoy hands-on discovery learning. They love building, exploring, creating, and sharing what they learn with others. My students love "Genius Hour" where they choose a topic of interest to them, research that topic, and then share what they've learned with the class.
My students are refining their reading skills. I have students at all reading levels, from beginning readers to strong readers, all working on improving their reading skills. We are at the crucial stage where we transition from learning to read to reading to learn.
My Project
Our school is moving to Distance Learning right after Thanksgiving. We were so lucky to have stayed in person learning until now. These gift cards to TPT will provide my students with high quality, highly engaging learning activities that students can do digitally from home.
Having these ready made activities for math, reading, science and social studies will allow me to focus on my students and their instruction, rather than spending my time creating learning activities from scratch.
