Help me give my students running shoes (sneakers) that comfortably fit, bath towels/soap to practice safe hygienic routines, and food so my student can have a full meal.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a wonderful group of kiddos. They are special because they've shown how resilient they are throughout the years of the pandemic. They have shown so much growth and have made great strides in their academics, social and emotional learning. I am asking for your support for one of my students who has had a very difficult life. Her family left another country and they're trying to get on their own two feet here in America. They are having difficulty providing hygiene products and clothes that fit for everyone in the family. We want to do what we can to provide what we can for our student. We want to get a few different size sneakers so the other siblings can have a pair that fits too.
My student would benefit from comfortable shoes that fit and hygiene products to make life at home easier.
These items will make a huge difference because this student can practice safe and healthy hygienic routines. She can be happy and healthy home and then come into school more eager to learn and form friendships with her peers.
