This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting support so I can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our second-grade classroom that feels more like a home. We are seeking donations for a classroom rug, a lamp, comfortable seating, a side table, and various supplies. These items will not only enhance the physical environment of our classroom but also significantly impact the students' emotional and academic growth.

A classroom rug, flexible seating, and a lamp for our library will provide a cozy space for group activities and reading time.

A side table will offer a designated space for displaying books and materials, encouraging students to explore new topics and engage in self-directed learning.

These enhancements will transform our classroom into a nurturing space that supports students' diverse learning needs. By making the environment more inviting and comfortable, we hope to inspire a love of learning and encourage students to take ownership of their education. Your generous contributions will play a crucial role in making our classroom a true "home away from home" for our young learners.
