Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students create all kinds of innovative programs, from video games to apps, from the incredibly complex to the fun and simple. Increasingly, these programs can be made interactive and used with a variety of fun devices for user input.

As we attempt to recruit new students who want to study Computer Science, our current students do an amazing job of demonstrating their skills in fun and engaging ways.

What we're asking for is a set of Makey Makey devices, which will allow students to create exciting experiences to share with prospective students and community members. This will not only increase enthusiasm, but will display the continued viability of our Computer Science program.
