About half of the class has already shown noticeable improvement in how they organize their thinking, track their progress, and reflect on the financial concepts we're studying. These materials have helped them stay more engaged during lessons and given them a sense of ownership over their learning.\r\n\r\nFor the other half of the class, the impact is still emerging. Many students are experimenting with different ways to use the notebooks, and some are just beginning to integrate them into their daily routines. Because financial literacy builds gradually, I expect we'll see the full effect of these materials as students continue using them throughout October. By November, I anticipate a clearer picture of how the notebooks support deeper understanding and long‑term skill development.\r\n\r\nStill, even at this early stage, it's clear that the notebooks have added structure, consistency, and confidence to our classroom. They've helped students approach financial topics with more clarity and curiosity, and they've made it easier for me to guide them through complex ideas. Even this small set has already made a meaningful difference in our daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen the stools arrived, students were genuinely excited. They actually helped assemble them, working together to put each one together carefully and correctly. There was a real sense of pride in the room—they kept saying, \"We built these,\" and expressing gratitude for the donation. It was powerful for them to see that their voices were heard and that people outside our classroom cared enough to invest in their learning space.\r\n\r\nWe are currently investigating the cell cycle and how it relates to cancer—who gets it, why it happens, and what we can do about it. Students are spending extended time at lab stations modeling the cell cycle, analyzing data, and discussing how uncontrolled cell division leads to disease. During our 90-minute classes, having supportive seating makes a noticeable difference in their ability to stay focused, collaborate, and engage deeply in these complex conversations.\r\n\r\nNext, students will design their own investigations connected to cell growth and cancer risk factors. As they continue this work, they're also experiencing something equally important: the understanding that they can advocate for their needs and see real change happen.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has supported far more than furniture.
