Makey Makeys and Art Supplies for 5th Graders

My Project

I'm always looking for ways to incorporate more STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities in my classroom. My students would love the addition of Makey Makeys to explore coding and circuitry. The Makey Makeys will be used in small groups in a variety of ways in our 5th grade classroom. A basic understanding of coding and circuits will help them as they start thinking about their possible future career options.

Opportunities to explore and experiment with different types of STEAM materials provides more hands-on engagement in our classroom.

The art materials will help as they draw out and plan/design their STEAM projects.
