My Project
My third graders are a wonderful group of understanding students who love learning and trying new strategies. I am excited when their growth is seen within their work and interaction with their peers.
Our project, "Makey, Makey STEM Kit in ELA, Writing, and Social Studies," will help my students look at the world around them, think about how things work, and imagine how they might work differently in various subject areas.
One activity my students will use the Makey, Makey STEM Kit for is using paper, pencil, access to the Scratch coding platform, to code, record, and use the Makey, Makey kit with a coding program, Scratch to remix a code, connect to their specific drawing, and create sounds.
