Help me give my students a choice in how they express their creativity in the classroom. My students need makerspace supplies so that they will have the opportunities to explore their own interests.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a 3rd grade teacher a charter school. My school has provided character and lifelong learning through challenging educational experiences. My students are creative, curious, and resourceful. They are 120 of the most wonderful 3th graders and come from extremely diverse social and economic backgrounds. I am fortunate to work with kids from great families, a supportive school administration, and teachers who are working hard to create a community school where children can thrive.
Our school is a free public charter school run by the city, Title I, and 51% of our students qualify for the free or reduced cost lunch program.
My Project
Students are usually more creative when they can explore, create, tinker and design with materials that they are most interested in. My makerspace environment needs supplies to nurture my students creativity and imagination.
To create a great makerspace I have selected the right resources and materials: Keva blocks, Makey-Makey circuit boards, and snap in place coding are just some of the materials we will need .
Many of the jobs our students will have do not even exist yet. By using makerspaces is a great way to help prepare then for thier future.
With these amazing resources students will learn to break apart, inspire them to design and create, and to use critical thinking.
