My Project

Students are working on a variety of digital literacy and STEAM skills. We need a space for students to work that provides enough room to allow for design, development, and exploration. Students will have access to ipads and a variety of tech and building materials and this table would provide them the space to work.

Our makerspace is an area and that offers students the opportunity to create intellectual and physical materials using resources such as computers, ipads, audio and video capture and editing tools, and traditional arts and crafts supplies.

The goal of our makerspace is to allow students to learn through experimentation and from each other.

We are a Title I school that serves roughly 700 students. All students use the library space to learn and create. This project would help my students to further their learning through hands-on experiences.
