My Project

We are in need of materials to enable students to create projects that solve problems. While they love using items such as cardboard, bottle lids, paper towel rolls, and scraps that might have been thrown away to create, some materials can not be recycled. We are in need of toothpicks, sealer, foam sheets, paper, foil, cotton foam, and magnets. The thermal pouches will allow students to protect their work and show the value placed on creativity. This provides inspiration to others and a sense of accomplishment for the maker.

My learners will have opportunities to explore materials that infuse art, science, engineering, math, technology, and lessons that develop a growth mindset.

The materials generously donated through this project will allow my students to create and design bridges, mazes, roller coasters, and games. The future engineers, architects, scientists, and artists are in my room and ready to begin.
