My Project
My students absolutely love building and expressing their ideas in non-traditional ways. A classroom makerspace allows students to engage their creativity in new ways.
These makerspace building materials will allow students to engage in meaning-making while having fun!
The design process with prototyping and reiteration of ideas promotes collaboration and discourse in the classroom. Students have a chance to discuss and refine their ideas about different subjects we are studying. They can build the best habitat for the animal they have researched, create an animal best suited to survive in a specific habitat, and/or create a structure for scientists to live while exploring Mars. The possibilities are endless and these materials will ensure that students have access to materials that allow them to creatively express their learning.
