This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have creative 6th-8th grade middle school students who need a safe space to design, collaborate and create amazing projects. Every teacher in our school can bring their students to our MakerSpace to create new inventions, design and build projects through collaboration or have a safe space for the students to demonstrate their artistic abilities by using the different materials that are provided. Paper, cardboard, glue guns, markers, scissors all provided and organized on a peg board will help make this happen.

Providing miscellaneous craft materials will allow the students to use their artistic expression to explore the designing process while working with their peers.

Encouraging them to experiment and be productive and innovative in their creations is so valuable for our students to grow intellectually and think outside of the box.
