Help me give my students the supplies needed to use in a makerspace corner. These materials will be organized into stem bins. I want my students to be able to imagine, build, and create using the resources given.
Learning can and should be a fun experience. Having a makerspace in our library will provide students with the opportunity to design, experiment, build, and invent. Students will be given tools and a task to complete with each makerspace kit. It will encourage collaboration, adaptability, leadership, and productivity.
Students will become problem solvers while developing critical thinking skills by desiging, creating, and interacting.
Having a variety of tools will enable students to experiment, accept failure, make improvements, and develop solutions. The possibilities are endless when learning is a hands-on interactive experience.
