Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These different materials will provide my students the opportunity to create. Students can create during free time, such as indoor recess, but also, during the academic day. Our science program often encourages students to be engaged in hands on experiments, but the materials to do so are often not provided for us.

Students often learn best through hands-on experiences.

With materials such as Play-doh,, Magna-tiles, Legos,, modeling foam and connecting blocks, we will create different projects and models that relate directly to our curriculum. These include but are not limited to, weather barriers, different animal habitats and sturdy structures to withstand force.
