My Project
For this project, I am requesting 25 lamp assembly kits, so that my students can learn how to make functioning, custom lamps. They will start off by using clay to create the base of the lamp. They will then use their assembly kits to make the lamp functional. We will also explore methods for creating the shade.
My main goal for this project is that students create something artfully functional, that they use in their everyday life.
I want each student to take pride in their work, and to understand that they are capable of making beautiful, functional items that they can use in their home.
