Help me give my students the storage space needed to keep all of our classroom materials where they are easily accessible for student use.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Church's classroom raised $375

My Students
The students I teach are interested in improving their lives through education in an area where many families struggle with job loss, underemployment, and poverty. My school is in a rural area in northwest North Carolina where students sometimes find it difficult to see all the possibilities life has to offer. My hope every day is to help students improve the academic skills they will need to be successful in higher education and have a chance at a better future.
My Project
For my project, I am asking for two large black bookcases to provide storage for a classroom library and maker space center. If my project is fully funded, I will be able to organize student materials for easy access during classroom activities. The bookcases will be used to store books and maker space materials to support instruction. In a high school classroom, it is important to give students many opportunities to engage in project-based learning.
My goal is to expand my use of hands-on activities to support our study of American History.
The more fun we can make the student of all the social sciences, the more likely students will be to remember important details of the development of our country and be able to participate in our democracy.
